How do I get emergency dental care?
If you’re experiencing a dental emergency, start by calling our practice. From there, one of our team members will be ready to assist you. If you believe that your emergency is life-threatening in nature, call 911 first. Keep in mind that most dental emergencies cannot be properly addressed by a quick care clinic or even hospital emergency room. This means you likely won’t get the treatment you need if you are suffering from a bad toothache or knocked-out tooth. In most cases, we can accommodate a same-day appointment as we are open early and in the early evening.
How much does a dental check-up & cleaning cost in Manhattan?
While the cost of a check-up and cleaning can vary depending on where you are receiving care, the average cost generally falls between $200 and $350 without dental insurance. If you have dental insurance, any fees will be negotiated by the insurance companies with our dentists. During your checkup, we’ll go over your patient history and discuss your concerns upfront. You can also expect us to perform a detailed exam, cleaning, series of X-rays, and oral cancer screening.
How can I make a same-day appointment with a dentist?
To improve your chances of getting a same-day appointment scheduled, it’s always best to call our office directly as an email may not get seen in time. A phone call also enables our team members to better understand your dental needs and get you the right care as soon as possible. Our office is happy to accommodate same-day appointments and a live answering service is ready to take your call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
What is the best way to find a dentist who does dental implants?
While dental implants remain to be the gold standard for tooth replacement, it’s important that you do some research ahead of time before just choosing any dentist to perform treatment. An implant procedure consists of a placement phase and a restoration stage, which means you’ll need to confirm if you’re willing to visit a team of dentists to complete your care or a single dentist that performs all stages in-house. At Aaronson and Associates, we can perform all stages of implant placement under one roof!
How do I find the best place to get dental work done?
When you’re looking for a new dentist, you need to start by considering what your needs are and what’s most important to you (and your family, if you plan on bringing them to the dentist as well.) This includes taking a moment to review the practice’s insurance and other financing options, where they are located, their office hours, specific credentials, and how well they take care of their office and patients. You should also have a good idea of what kind of dental work you intend to complete. The best way to know if a practice is right for you is to visit them directly as well as take a look at their online reviews and doctor bios.
